Rough one with Tyler Herro going over 17.5 points last night, but at least I didn't have the Lakers +7.5. Bullshit play from a bullshit player, I just want to know how much Herro's getting paid out by whoever he chucked that three up for at the buzzer.
I'm not going to say that baseball's my best sport, because it's not. Football is and I'll be back with a full slate of prop bets for this NFL Sunday, but I've done well on baseball props this year (1-0) on props posted here on The Goonery, but I've been a fiend on total bases props, won a solid chunk of change but of course I don't post those here. But today's pick isn't total bases, quite the opposite in all honesty and this is as confident as I've been in a prop bet in quite some time:
Ian Anderson OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (+115)
What's that Ian? I was laughing too when I saw I could get you at over 6.5 strikeouts at +115. The 2016 first round pick showed the world that he's got stones in first career playoff start against the Reds where he fired 6 scoreless innings of 2-hit ball with 9 strikeouts. Not only that, he's had a K/9 of 13.50 this year through 38.1 innings in the this year's regular and postseason. Anderson rides this momentum into a matchup with the Marlins, a team that struck out 11 times their last game. I'm just following trends here, folks. Let's win some money.
