FULL MATCH FRIDAY: WrestleMania 22 Money In The Bank Ladder Match

New reoccurring blog here on The Goonery, and it's going to be a full wrestling match every Friday. Took a lot to figure that one out based on the title. My goal each week is to give you all either an incredibly underrated, forgotten or unknown match. It's not going to be WWE every week, hell it won't be a match that was even on TV, but with it being WrestleMania this weekend, it only felt right. This week features the Money In The Bank Ladder Match from WrestleMania 22, which is in my opinion, one of the better Money In The Bank matches.

Money In The Bank tends to be a launching point for mid card stars (or at least that was its original intention), but this one had some star power. This match has a 57-year old Ric Flair who was still hellbent on putting on a show for fans across the world every night and definitely not just doing not because he needed the money. It has The Whole F'n Show, Rob Van Dam, who was probably high as balls during this, as well as Matt Hardy, Finlay, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. It's a 12 minute car crash, so fire up this illegal Daily Motion video and kick your Friday afternoon off with a bang. MITB should have never left 'Mania, either. Was the perfect way to open the show every year, but Vince had to go and turn it into it's own PPV. For shame.

Match starts at about 4 minutes.

Since we're here, I'm ranking my Top 5 gimmick matches excluding the Royal Rumble, because nothing even comes close to it, and never will.

5. WarGames

4. TLC

3. Last Man Standing

2. Iron Man

1. Money In The Bank

Agree or disagree with my list? Probably will because apparently I have horrible wrestling takes. Let me know on Twitter @The1nnKeeper_
